Dust off your rotors — it’s time to head into the trees.

Developer Not Knowing Corporation and publisher MicroProse Software have launched Chapter 2: Jungle Storm — a massive, free campaign update for their physics-driven helicopter shooter Cleared Hot, available right now on Steam for all owners.

Nine New Missions. One Lush, Dangerous Jungle.

Jungle Storm expands the world of Cleared Hot with a brand-new nine-mission campaign featuring playtime on par with Chapter 1, plus a climactic boss encounter you won’t see coming. You’ll fly through dense canopies, battle sudden storms, and face enemies that know exactly how to use the terrain against you.

What’s New in the Jungle?

• Two helicopters join the fleet — the Ka-52 Alligator attack craft and the massive MH-53 Pave Low heavy-lift helicopter, both chosen by the community
• Unique abilities for all 11 helicopters — every chopper now has a signature power reflecting its real-world role; no two fly or fight quite the same way
• Utility Slot system — equip flares, chaff, EMP bursts, airstrike calls, and smoke grenades; grab them from the world or upgrade them in the hangar
• Dynamic weather — fly through rain, lightning, and thunder; visibility shifts with the storm
• Fresh threats — BTR armoured carriers, Shilka anti-aircraft vehicles, gunboats, swift boats, and swarms of deadly drones await
• Customise your ride — unlock helicopter skins using in-game currency
• Level editor & mod support — build your own missions and share them with the community via early file-based modding tools
• Enhanced physics — reworked buoyancy and water interaction, plus a refined weapon overheating system

Overwhelmingly Positive — and Still Growing

Since launching in Early Access last November, Cleared Hot has earned Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on Steam — 96% approval across over 3,000 players. Chapter 2 is the game’s biggest update yet, shaped directly by community feedback and delivered at no extra cost.

Ready to Lift Off?

Chapter 2: Jungle Storm is live right now — simply launch Cleared Hot to download. The game is also currently 20% off on Steam until 29 October, so new pilots can join the fight at a discount.

From desert dunes to jungle canopies — the mission continues. Will you answer the call?
