Set in the grim aftermath of a war that reduced a hyper-advanced society to ash, TankRat throws players into the Event Containment Area (ECA)—a sprawling dead zone dominated by twisted metal husks, mechanical corruption, and deadly radioactive storms known as the Shroud.

You play as Whitaker, a digitised consciousness (a “Sleepwalker”) housed inside a nimble airborne drone called a Needle. In this wasteland, organic flesh is long gone—survival is earned exclusively through heavy artillery, thick armour plating, and scrap metal.
