Relic Entertainment has officially announced Company of Heroes 3: Operation Torch, a brand-new narrative-driven campaign DLC that marks the first major single-player mission content since the game launched in 2023. Landing exclusively on PC via Steam on 25 November 2026, it takes players to the sun-scorched battlefields of North Africa for one of WWII’s most pivotal campaigns.
The Story — From Beaches to the Atlas Mountains
It’s November 1942 — and the United States enters the war in North Africa. You take command of green American troops facing their first trials against seasoned German forces, tracing the real-life Operation Torch landings through to the decisive battles of the campaign.
The story unfolds through the eyes of three distinct American soldiers — from high command to the front lines — their perspectives weaving together the cost of war, the weight of leadership, and the transformation of a fledgling force into the army that would liberate Europe.
What You’ll Fight
The campaign spans 15 missions, each inspired by actual historical events and battles:
- Beachhead Landings — storm the shores of North Africa and secure vital ports
- Kasserine Pass — hold the line as your forces face a brutal early test against veteran Afrika Korps units
- Hill 609 — the climactic assault that broke Axis defences and cleared the path to victory in Tunisia
Between missions, a progression and upgrade system lets you shape your army — unlocking persistent abilities, specialised unit upgrades, and tactical bonuses that reward your preferred playstyle, whether you favour overwhelming armour, precise artillery, or hard-hitting infantry.
