Following in the footsteps of fan-favorites like Expeditions: Rome and Expeditions: Viking, this brand-new historical CRPG swaps the legionnaire sandals and longships for katanas and Sengoku-era intrigue.

The story begins in the year 1600. After setting sail aboard the battered Dutch frigate De Albatros, you step onto Japanese shores as the newly elected commander of a motley crew of privateers. However, there’s no time to get your sea legs back: you immediately find yourself plunged into the heart of a brutal, nation-shaping civil war.

As you navigate shifting political alliances, power-hungry warlords, and deadly conflicts, every single decision you make will echo across the island nation. What to Expect in Early Access

The Early Access launch delivers a meaty slice of the game, featuring the complete Act 1 storyline. Players can dive into 6 to 8 hours of questing, exploration, and fully voice-acted narrative choices. Even better? Your saves from Early Access will carry over to the full 1.0 release, so no progress will be lost when future updates drop!

Campfire Cabal plans to keep the game in Early Access until Q1 2027, using player feedback on Steam and Discord to fine-tune combat balance, refine QoL features, and roll out Act 2 alongside town-building and crafting systems.
