Stellar Jockeys officially announced today during the Convergence Showcase that Brigador Killers will launch in Early Access on August 20, 2026. Insurgents, mercenaries, and mech enthusiasts will be able to grab the game on both Steam and GOG.

Alongside the highly anticipated release date, the developers dropped a brand-new trailer giving players another action-packed look at the game’s explosive, boots-on-the-ground insurgency.

What is Brigador Killers?

For the uninitiated, the original 2016 Brigador: Up-Armored Edition became an absolute cult classic thanks to its intense isometric tactical combat, fully destructible neon-noir environments, and an unforgettable synthwave soundtrack.

Brigador Killers shifts the focus from the defence of Solo Nobre to a gruelling, boots-on-the-ground revenge mission on a completely new planet: Marsec. As a hit squad sent to eliminate the remaining Brigadors, players can expect the same satisfying, high-octane destruction, but with tighter mechanics, fresh unit types, and a deeper dive into the grimdark corporate sci-fi lore that fans fell in love with a decade ago.

What to Expect from the Early Access Launch

By launching in Early Access on August 20, Stellar Jockeys plans to work closely with their dedicated community to refine the gameplay, balance the arsenal of vehicles and infantry, and polish the campaign before the full 1.0 release.
