Enter zones that officially don’t exist. Fight threats no one was meant to find. Bring back what shouldn’t exist.
No Such Place is the tense new top-down extraction shooter from ChillyRoom and their in-house team, Criti Team, casting you as an agent for the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.) — a secretive organisation investigating supernatural anomalies erased from public record.
What Is No Such Place?
You’re a field operative for the U.R.C., dispatched into unstable dimensional fragments — reality-warped zones where normal rules don’t apply. Your mission: conduct reconnaissance, secure intel and relics, neutralise whatever lurks in the dark, and reach the extraction point before the zone collapses around you.
Here’s what awaits:
- Top-down PvE extraction — tense, tactical gameplay with a striking retro pixel-art aesthetic
- Solo or co-op for up to 4 players — go in alone or team up with friends
- Risk vs reward — every trip carries danger: die, and you lose everything you carried in
- Procedurally shifting zones — nearly ten distinct anomalous environments at Early Access launch
- Loot and survive — scavenge weapons, ammo, medical supplies, and rare anomalous relics
- Customise your arsenal — unique weapon crafting lets you mix parts from different eras: attach a Victorian brass scope to a modern rifle, or a motorcycle suppressor to an assault rifle
- Build your Safehouse — invest recovered resources to upgrade your base, unlock new gear, and strengthen your agents

The Mission Briefing
“Welcome to the U.R.C. You step into places officially stricken from all records — dimensional fragments where reality has frayed. Your job is simple: explore, document, extract. What you find there… some of it was never meant to be found. Return with it. Survive.”
Each run balances careful exploration, tactical combat, and the clock — linger too long, and the anomaly consumes you. Make it out, and what you recover funds better gear, stronger weapons, and deeper investigations into the unknown.
