DANCE WITH DEATH — BLOODRUSH: UNDYING WISH LEAVES EARLY ACCESS DECEMBER 3 ON STEAM & ALL CONSOLES

Death has vanished from the world. And someone must take its place. Lightmancer Studios, the six-person independent team from Brazil, together with publisher Nuntius Games, has announced that their stylish gothic hack-and-slash roguelite BloodRush: Undying Wish will exit Steam Early Access and launch in full 1.0 form on Wednesday, 3 December 2026 — simultaneously arriving on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 (backwards compatibility), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

WHEN DEATH DISAPPEARED — THE WORLD THAT FORGOT TO END

In a realm cloaked in gothic splendour, the natural order has broken: the Reaper is gone, and no one passes on anymore. Immortality has become a curse — a stagnant, unending existence where wounds fester and cycles repeat without resolution. You are the last soul chosen to restore the balance. Dash, slash, and weave through a dark, hand-crafted pixel-art world in combat designed to feel less like a fight and more like a lethal, graceful dance.

FLUID, FLOWING, DEADLY — COMBAT AS AN ART FORM

BloodRush: Undying Wish rejects button-mashing in favour of precision, rhythm, and improvisation:

  • Six core weapons — each transformable into alternate forms, offering 200+ move combinations across chains, air attacks, dash strikes, and hidden damage multipliers
  • 12 Rune categories + 47 Skill Variations — every run builds a distinct playstyle. Stack effects, trigger cascades, and discover synergies that turn even the most perilous encounter into a masterpiece
  • The Blood System — risk and reward in perfect balance: the lower your health, the more devastating your capabilities. Play dangerously, and you become unstoppable — until one mistake ends it all
  • Procedural storytelling — seven playthroughs weave together the full truth; NPC dialogue shifts with every rebirth, slowly revealing the tragedy beneath the surface
